Freedom Gardening

When we work with our land to encourage healthy soil, diversity, plant, insect and bird populations by bringing the wild ones in we find ourselves immersed in the natural world that as humans we’re evolved to be. It brings us back to ourselves, to nature and helps free our minds and imagination.

We find ourselves in living relationship with the plants and soil and the natural beings around us and by tending them carefully we get to experience their generosity. This is a process of decolonising and rewilding ourselves as we return to our original or earliest known state, indigenous to our land.

The Wild Walkabout Diaries are filmed monthly here in Magourney Gardens

and around and about our beautiful island.
